Paula and Dawn
We came up with the idea for the storage containers
when we were having our house renovated, which involved converting our
garage into a living room; we lost a lot of storage space. Among the many things we kept in the garage, were the dog and cat food bags.
Cabinet space was limited in our fancy new kitchen, so the idea of storing our cat and dog food in retro style garbage cans was born. After searching for the right can and designing our own euro style decals, we came up with these fun and decorative food or toy storage bins for cats and dogs.
Because
we are two fun girls who like to entertain, designing these wine and
beer tubs was engineered. They are fun, decorative and get people in a
festive mood.
Paula,
an entrepreneur all her life, has fulfilled many passions turning them
into businesses. She owned a photo finishing lab for 12 years employing
15 people in a 3500 square foot building. Paula also owned a coffee house in the early 90s, serving up coffee, pastries, wine and cheese for local Long Islanders. Paula currently owns a Window Treatment business in Huntington NY.
Dawn, graduating with a business degree, immediately got a job as the assistant to the VP of an import/export automotive company. Using
her knowledge from the import trades has helped her negotiate with
industry related businesses. For the last 20 years, She has
successfully run Total Body Works, Inc., her Personal Training business
in NYC and the Hamptons.
